ParentLaw is operated by ThinkEdge Apps. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles all billing, refunds and customer enquiries relating to payment.
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of any charge — your first payment or a renewal. You do not need to give a reason.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, the money usually appears within 5–10 business days.
We do not automatically refund charges older than 14 days, but we would rather hear from you than have you feel stuck. If something went wrong — a renewal you did not expect, a plan you could not use, a feature that did not work — write to us and we will look at it case by case.
You can cancel at any time from inside the app, under Profile → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the household returns to the free Basic plan.
This matters more here than in most products, so we will be explicit: ending a subscription never deletes your records. Your messages, calendar, expenses, files, notes and check-ins remain exactly as they are. What changes is the ceiling — how much you can store, how far back an export may reach, and whether that export carries a watermark.
If you later subscribe again, the same history is there and the limits lift.
The Court Record Pack is a one-time purchase that produces a certified export of your history. Because it is delivered immediately as a generated document, we ask that you request any refund before downloading it. If the document fails to generate or is unusable, we will refund it regardless.
A subscription covers both parents in a household. A refund cancels the subscription for the household, which means the other parent also returns to the Basic plan. Only the parent who paid can request the refund.
Email thinkedgeapps@gmail.com with the email address you used at checkout, or contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. Either route works; Paddle processes the money in both cases.
